Starting Line
This will be a very busy work week for me, so I'm not going to try and push myself too hard, that will only frustrate me, I'll just be glad to have a read-a-thon vibe to enjoy through the week! I still have my book pool from Dewey's to use, but also have some owed books I need to work on.
Goals
I will give myself a goal of 150 pages a day, which is 1050 pages over 7 days. It's ambitious for my work load but I think I can do it! No regrets if I don't make it though. Whatever I finish will also be included in my Read-in-October donation to Literacy Kansas City. Another goal will be to visit at least 3 other participants a day. I will probably just update once a day in the evening on separate posts, but plan to look in the twitter channel #boutofbooks throughout to see what's going on!
Here are some of the books I'm considering:
I'll just have to wait and see what else I'm in the mood for if I get that far!
Good luck everyone! Hope you all get off to a great start tomorrow! Monday's don't seem so bad when you have a read-a-thon to look forward to!
Good luck reaching your goals and have fun reading.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goals. I think we all have a busy week ahead, but spreading the reading out in a week is much more relaxed. Have fun, that's the most important goal!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck accomplishing your goals! :)
ReplyDeleteWow... another read-a-thon?
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! I need a break.
Yay!! You're going to do great!! :D
ReplyDeleteJust dropping in to say, "it's all your fault!" Day 1 of the Bout of Books is almost over and I'm having fun. Have followed your tweets and Facebook updates all day long. My first day summary is posted on my blog. I'll check in with you later.
