Another Great Dewey's Read-a-thon!

I have finished book 4 with just 20 minutes left on the clock! It took me just over 3 1/2 hours and was 230 pages. That brings my final total to 9 hours of reading, 3 hours of cheering, and 742 pages, or about 82 pages per hour spent reading.

My final book was Doomed Queen Anne by Carolyn Meyer, about Anne Boleyn and King Henry VIII. There are so many different portrayals of this story in print, and on the screen, it's always interesting to see how they differ, and they do!

Thanks to the Dewey organizers for another great read-a-thon, I had a great time, as always, and will of course see you all in October! And now... time for some more sleep!

  1. Woohoo, thanks for your cheerleading efforts too. Last year I couldn't fall asleep straight away, it was weird!

  3. You did great and you had fun, which is most important, right? Now, are you signed up for Spring into Horror this week? I can't wait for it to start at midnight tonight. Woot!

  4. Wow! you kept it going much longer than I did. I read 1.5 books, 428 pages. I lost track of how long I read, mainly because I kept dozing off!

@Ann -- I can't believe that you slept for almost 8 hours and *still* read over 1000 pages. You Rock!
