By day I am an Operations Analyst, by night and weekends a reader and casual computer gamer who loves cats (that's my read-a-thon helper Fergus above), a bit of gardening and crafting now and then, and the occasional geocaching excursion.
I’ve discovered on-line read-a-thons in the past few years and have become completely addicted! Though I can’t say I read any more during them, I think they are a great opportunity to turn a typically solitary past time into a social event.
I love seeing what my friends are reading and what their opinions are, so book blogging seemed like the way to go for me. Rather than establish a rating system, I will probably only review books (and sometimes other media) that I enjoyed and want to share with others. I am a mood reader, and since I want to keep reading and blogging to be a relaxing and fun activity for myself, will not take review requests at this time. That may change someday, but for now it’s the best route for me as I cannot guarantee the timeliness of a review.
I do love comments, it's always nice to know that you're not just blogging to the void, so please feel free to leave me some!
