Keepsake Crimes by Laura ChildsA fun little mystery set during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. This is the first of Laura Childs' Scrapbooking mystery series. Carmela is on the outs with her husband Shamus and has tried to make her own way by starting a scrapbooking store. During one of the Mardi Gras parades, a well known figure collapses and dies, and Carmela's husband is implicated, but he's disappeared, so she tries to figure out how he might have been involved, if he really was. Lots of fun scrapbooking tips, and Mardi Gras/New Orleans info. I enjoyed it, and would definitely read more of them!
This was one of the first books I blogged about.Never did finish the series though.
